Muddled orange, lemon, and lime create a refreshing citrus base for this cocktail version of the classic recipe.
25 ml tequila
20 ml Grand Marnier
20 ml simple syrup
1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick orange slices, cut in half
1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick lemon slices, cut in half
1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick lime slices
Place tequila, Grand Marnier, simple syrup, orange, lemon, lime, and 1 cups (110 g) of the ice into the blender and secure the lid.
Start the machine, and blend for 45 seconds.
Add the remaining 1 cup (110 g) of ice to the glasses and top with the blended mixture. Serve immediately.
Notes This is a great alternative version of the delicious but typical, everyday frozen margarita. If you like a more potent cocktail double the tequila.
