Margarita on the Rocks

Muddled orange, lemon, and lime create a refreshing citrus base for this cocktail version of the classic recipe.


  • 25 ml tequila

  • 20 ml Grand Marnier

  • 20 ml simple syrup

  • 1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick orange slices, cut in half

  • 1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick lemon slices, cut in half

  • 1 (¼-inch/ 6-mm) thick lime slices


  1. Place tequila, Grand Marnier, simple syrup, orange, lemon, lime, and 1 cups (110 g) of the ice into the blender and secure the lid.

  2. Start the machine, and blend for 45 seconds.

  3. Add the remaining 1 cup (110 g) of ice to the glasses and top with the blended mixture. Serve immediately.

Notes This is a great alternative version of the delicious but typical, everyday frozen margarita. If you like a more potent cocktail double the tequila.
